Spring Summer 2024 Richards Radcliffe immerses you into the cacophony of the Cote d’Azur. The Mediterranean Sea glistens, the Provencal flowers are abundant, and the sun kissed air engulfs you. Days spent meandering the streets of the Old Town and Vieux Port are capped with clinquant cocktail evenings in Club55 and nights dancing at Les Caves Du Roy. This is a collection of two halves; strength and delicacy, leather and georgette, micro and maxi lengths, sparkling surface textures and the powerful undercurrents of mixed fabrications, beautifully hand beaded and boldly topstitched nappas. This is a collection for spring days and summer nights. This is a collection for multifaceted femininity.

The season starts with beautiful by-product leathers in shades of Sky Blue and Aqua next to blooming Viburnum Pinks and shimmering Gold and Silver Metallics. Belted trench coats that are stunningly topstitched in perfect panel matches and intricately hand-interwoven leather jackets, provide layered dressing as the days gently warm. The leather jumpsuit is our hero piece as a one item outfit for Spring offered in several silhouettes and new seasonal hues.

The collection then evolves from the art of tanning nappa into the meticulous craftmanship of hand beading. The wrap dress dominates, allowing the warm breeze to engulf the silhouette with seductively flowing sheers and sumptuous liquid-like satins. Classic stripes are broken up and bled out in artworks that feel more tigress than timid. Sunbeams glitter ball from sequin micro mini wrap dresses with vintage inspired floral motifs. Long flowing gowns are split to the hip for flashes of form hiding beneath the beautifully demure. Bead-encrusted micro jumpsuits cry out for nights spent in revelry by the shoreline. These are pieces with the essence of Bardot, Donyale Luna and Veruschka running through their seams.
